The client for this property was very clear in what he wanted but hadn’t managed to find it yet, we prepared numerous samples and eventually he settled on wide boards with a black wash finish that achieved a chic clean modern look for his new family home. We finished the floor and stair treads in a hardwearing lacquer that’s resilient to the rigours of young family life and the job was completed with matching doors, handrail and even the kitchen table top.
